WinOrganizer Online Help - Program options

This command calls up the WinOrganizer options dialog box.

All program options are customized using the options dialog box that has the following appearance:

There is a tree structure in the left part of the dialog box, each branch of which corresponds to a certain page of options. All options are divided into:

Common - general program options
Additional - setting autosaving features and denying access to password-protected documents after a certain period of time
Minimization - setting actions performed upon program window minimization
Interface - interface settings
Documents - document settings
Fonts - font options
Languages - localization options
Dialogs - dialog box options
Chameleon Clock - integration with Chameleon Clock

The Apply button enables you to apply changed settings without closing the options dialog box.

Common options

Run on Windows startup	Indicates that WinOrganizer is launched on Windows startup.
Show calendar by the icon in the system tray	Indicates that placing the mouse on WinOrganizer icon in the system tray will automatically call up the calendar window.
Compress file on closing the program	Automatically compresses files when you exit the program. Note that compressing file can considerably decrease the file size. For more detailed information, go to the Working with files section.
Display the "Today" window on program startup	At each startup, the program will display the Today window that shows events and tasks for the current date and forthcoming days. If you want the Today window to automatically appear on the first program startup only, enable the Once a day option.
Hotkey for the program call up	Allows you to set key combinations for bringing back the program from the minimized state or the system tray.
Hotkey to call up the "Today" window	Allows you to set a key combination for quick access to the Today window.
