Toolbar and menus

Main menu

The main menu gives you an access to practically all functions of the program. To close the current (open) .gso file, use the corresponding button located in the right corner of the main menu.

Toolbar

As of functions, the toolbar is partially similar to the main menu. It contains the main menu items of most frequent usage. Elements in the bottom part of the toolbar are designed for text-editing (formatting, font selection, etc.).

Customizing

Both the main menu and the toolbar can be customized according to your preferences. To do this, right click the menu, or the toolbar. A pop-up menu will appear on the screen.
Use it to select which parts of the toolbar should be visible. In addition, you can use the Customize item to modify the structure of the toolbar and the main menu. The Reset... menu item is designed for restoring the default structure of the toolbar/main menu.

Selecting the Customize item calls up the customizing dialog box:

In this mode, both the main menu and the toolbar can be customized according to your preferences. To add a new item in the main menu or the toolbar, simply drag the corresponding icon from the Customize dialog box to the menu, or the toolbar. To remove a menu item or an icon from the toolbar, drag it with the mouse and drop on the Customize dialog box.
To add a separator in the toolbar, click and hold the icon located on the right of the desired separator location, and then drag it a bit to the right. To remove a separator, drag the icon located on the right of the separator to the left.
