Since version 2.0 of WinOrganizer,
it is made possible to set up dates and alarms not only for events
and tasks, but any other record available. You can now set up a
date for notes, contacts and even - passwords. To do this, use the
button located on the toolbar of the record editing dialog box.
Clicking this button calls up the Advanced alarm settings dialog box.
At the time of an event, the alarm dialog box
will appear on the screen and the corresponding melody will be
played back via PC speaker or external speakers. If you don't close
this dialog box within a minute, the alarm sound will be repeated
every minute (unless this option is cancelled in the Advanced alarm settings dialog box).
In addition, you should remember that the program will track dates
and trigger alarms only if the file with these alarms is entered
into the database using the Database
manager dialog box.
