Alarm


The Alarm tab page is designed for customizing a date, sound and recurrence of an alarm. An alarm date is set with regard to the event date.

The Alarm tab page appearance:


To activate an alarm, check the Remind option. This makes alarm setting fields and buttons active.

The Every ... Minutes (Hours, Days, Weeks) fields enable you to select an interval of alarm recurrence.
The Before the beginning of task (Before the end of task) dropdown list indicates the basis point of time used for counting an alarm date.
The Repeat reminder every ... Minutes (Hours, Days, Weeks) field enable you to repeat an alarm after a certain period of time.

The Reminder is active during field group is designed to specify a period of alarm activity. Depending on the required duration of alarm activity, you can select one of the following time intervals:
Period - from one day to several years;
Time - from one second to a single day.

A reminder is active during the period of time:



After - the beginning of the reminder activity period;
Before - the end of the reminder activity period.

A reminder is active during the time:



After - time of the beginning of the reminder activity period;
Before - time of the end of the reminder activity period.

The Sound field group is designed for selecting a sound for the event alarm.
No Sound - alarm without any sound. Only the alarm window will pop up on the screen.
Speaker - alarm is supported by a melody played back via the built-in PC speaker.



Choose over 500 available melodies in the dropdown list provided.

The button is meant for playing back the selected melody.

The button enables you to check the selected melody as a default one.

Sound File - alarm is supported by music output via the soundcard.



If you don't want to use a default sound file, uncheck the Set as default option. This makes the sound file name field editable:



The button enables you to select a sound file to play at the time of an alarm.

The button is designed for preliminary listening to the selected sound file.

The button is used to check the selected sound file as a default one.


If you want to have a sound alarm repeated, check the Repeat the sound option.
The Number of times option allows you to set the number of melody recurrences (1 - 50).
If you select the As long as the alarm window is displayed option, an alarm sound will be repeated as long as the alarm window is displayed on the screen.
The Interval between sounds option enables you to set an interval (pause) between melody playbacks (from 5 to 10000 seconds).
