On the Date/Time tab page, control elements concerning event
date/time settings are grouped by their purpose. Here you can also
set up terms of event completion (deadline).

Possible options for event periodicity are listed in the top left
corner of the dialog box:
Certain settings appear on the right, depending on the selected
option.
Terms of event completion are listed in the bottom left corner of
the dialog box:
Settings for the selected completion terms are displayed on the
right.
Periods of event recurrence
Once
Such an event has no recurrence period and happens only once.
The Start Date field group:
This field group has the same purpose in all periodicity
options.
The Start Date field is designed for setting a date and time
of the beginning of an event. The Calculate age option
indicates that the program will calculate the age of the selected
event or task. An event age is displayed in the Adding/editing a
task (or event) dialog box and is calculated in years. Besides,
an age can be displayed as a separate column in the list of records
of the main window. Calculating age, for example, for birthdates is
rather convenient, since the event age here will be equal a man's
age.
Select the The whole day option to specify that this event
will begin at the beginning of the day and will continue the whole
day (for instance, a holiday, birthday, etc.). To specify exact
time of the event beginning, uncheck the The whole day
option and specify the desired time.
Hourly
This event will repeat in a specified number of hours and
minutes.

The Recurrence field group is designed to specify an
interval of event recurrence in hours and minutes counted from the
beginning of the event.
Every X hours and Y minutes the given event will be
repeated.
Daily
This event will repeat in a specified number of days.
The Start Date field group is described in the Once section.
The Recurrence field group is designed to specify an
interval of event recurrence in days counted from the beginning of
the event.
Every X days the given event will be repeated.
Weekly
This event will repeat in a specified number of weeks, on certain
days of week.
The Start Date field group is described in the Once section.
The Recurrence field group is designed to specify an
interval of event recurrence in weeks counted from the beginning of
the event.
The Week(s) field group allows you to select one of the
event recurrence options (in weeks):
- Every ... Week(s)
- Every even week of the year
- Every odd week of the year
- Week of the month
- . Here you can choose desired weeks.
The Weekly button checks all weeks of the month. Use the
dropdown list to select a month during which an event will be
repeated weekly: every month, January, February,
March,...December.
The Day(s) of week field group allows you to select days of
week when the event will be repeated. The Daily button
checks all days of the week.
Monthly
This event will repeat on a specified day, on a monthly basis.
The Start Date field group is described in the Once section.
The Recurrence field group is designed to specify a day of
the month on which this event should happen:
- Every ... Day of the month
- Every ... Days until the end of the month
Note: 0 - last day of the month.Use the dropdown list to
select a month during which an event will be repeated on a
specified date: every month, January, February,
March,...December.
Annually
This event will repeat in a specified number of years.
The Start Date field group is described in the Once section.
The Every ... Year(s) field indicates a number of years
between event recurrences. For example, for a birthday this field
will have a value of 1.
Regular
This event will repeat regularly, under certain conditions.
The Start Date field group is described in the Once section.
The Recurrence field group is designed to specify an
interval of event recurrence.
To specify an interval of recurrence, enter a number and select one
of the following options in the dropdown list:
This indicates that an event is repeated every X minutes
(hours, days, weeks) Before or After:
- Windows start
- Beginning of an hour
- Beginning of a day
- Beginning of a week
- Beginning of a year
- Easter
- Lunar New Year
- (not available in the current
version)
- Start Date
Terms of event completion
No Due Date
This option indicates that the event completion date is unknown or
this event/task has no expiration period.
For
This option indicates that the current event will end in a
specified period of time.
To set up a time interval, specify when the event will end (in
minutes, hours, days, weeks).
The time is counted from:
- Start Date
- Dates of each recurrence
Until
This option indicates that the current event will end before the
specified date.
To set up a task completion date, fill in the corresponding date
and time fields.
