All GoldenSection Notes editing
dialog boxes have the same interface elements:
- Main menu
- Toolbar
- Record editing area
Main menu

The main menu of the editing area repeats the functionality of
GoldenSection Notes main menu that provides text and record
editing features.
Toolbar

The toolbar contains those items of the editing window main menu
that are used most frequently upon working with records and
formatting a text. Elements in the bottom part of the toolbar are
designed for text-editing (formatting, font selection, etc.).
In addition, the following buttons are added to the main menu and
the toolbar:
Saves
current changes in a record and closes the editing dialog box. For
quick access to this item, use the Ctrl+Enter key
combination.
Cancels all
changes made in the current record and closes the editing dialog
box.
Record editing area
There are always two tab pages in a record editing area:
General and Comment.
The General tab page consists of two parts. The upper part
contains fields that correspond to records of the current document
type. The bottom part has a comment field
Example of the data editing area in documents of the Notes
type:

The Comment tab page contains a full-size Comment
field for the current record. Its contents are absolutely the same
as the contents of the Comment field on the General
tab page. |
