Print preview

The Print preview window enables you to preview a document ready to be printed.

Example of the Print preview window:

The toolbar of the Print preview window contains the following fields and buttons:

The Address field indicates the location of the page (to be printed) on your hard disk.
Start. Transfers you to a page specified in the Address field.
View in browser. Displays the current page in a browser. For example, in Internet Explorer.
Stop. Stops page loading.
Refresh. Refreshes the current page.
Print. Calls up the standard print document dialog box.
Preview. Opens the Print Preview window of Internet Explorer.
Note: Before you call up the Print Preview window, make sure you have an installed version of Internet Explorer 6.0 (or higher).

Example of the Print Preview window of Internet Explorer:

Page Setup.... Enables you to customize page settings that concern printing.

Apart from the mentioned functions of the Print Preview window, you can use it as a Web-browser itself. If you enter a Web address in the Address field and click the Start button, you will be transferred to the given location (of course, if you have an active Internet-connection).
